My songwriting began as poetry. I've written a lot of poems and one day I found myself singing one of my poems. I began making music because writing poetic songs to sing helped me to work through the big changes happening in my life and gave me emotional release.
Now...I just listen, the music creates itself. "Creating" for me is a process of listening through my heart and allowing the flow of Love to manifest it's beauty through me. "The Universe and the Light of the Stars comes through Me" sayeth Rumi. ...So then, it's really the Universe creating Love through me....and you. "In Lak'ech"...is Mayan for "I am another yourself"...
